Victim Services of York Region is a non-profit, charitable agency that works in partnership with York Regional Police and the O.P.P. to provide 24 hour emotional support and practical assistance to persons victimized by crime or tragic circumstance.
The Winter & Fall 2008 Volunteer Training session dates have been confirmed and are listed here. For Victim Response Volunteers, attendance at all of these session dates is required for successful completion of the third screening stage (Administrative Volunteers only need to attend the first and last sessions.)
