Victim Services of York Region is a non-profit, charitable agency that works in partnership with York Regional Police and the O.P.P. to provide 24 hour emotional support and practical assistance to persons victimized by crime or tragic circumstance.

3rd Annual 5K charity Run/Walk
Please save the date – August 21st, 2010 for our Third Annual 5 K Charity RUN/WALK at Toogood Pond in Unionville. Come out and have a good time while raising funds for a good cause. Registered Runners will be treated to a free breakfast from Jakes on Main, the day includes music, a silent auction and fun events for the whole family.

Registration fee of $25 is required and must be submitted before or on Run/Walk Day. Bring pledge sheet and funds to the event, completed pledge sheets (PDF pledge sheet) and funds MUST be submitted on the Day of the event.

Film Screening "Heaven on Earth"
Look for further info on this upcoming event. In October, Women Against Violence Month, we will be showing this film produced by award winning film-maker Deepa Mehta’s. The film is a powerful exploration of an arranged marriage, an abusive relationship and the struggle of an immigrant woman to find safety in a new relationship in a new country.
