Volunteer Training Schedule
The Winter & Fall 2008 Volunteer Training session dates have been confirmed and are listed below. For Victim Response Volunteers, attendance at all of these session dates is required for successful completion of the third screening stage (Administrative Volunteers only need to attend the first and last sessions.) Please be sure to notify the VSY office immediately if you are unable to attend any of these compulsory dates. The sessions are:

Throughout the training period, there is an ongoing assessment of each volunteer candidate to determine if she/he is suitable for the program for which they are applying. There will be a variety of topics covered at the sessions and attendance is mandatory at all sessions for those interested in the Victim Response Volunteer role. The training sessions for these volunteer candidates will be a total of 63 hours in length. Again, Administrative Volunteers must attend the first and last sessions. |
